RE

RE at Benedict House Preparatory School encourages pupils to explore important questions about belief, meaning and life in a thoughtful and supportive environment. Following the Discovery RE scheme, learning is enquiry-led and structured around key questions, enabling children to develop understanding of religions that include Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Sikhism and Buddhism.

Lessons are carefully planned to be accessible and engaging for all pupils, giving every child the opportunity to share ideas, listen respectfully to others and express their thinking with confidence. Through stories, artefacts, drama and thoughtful discussion, children deepen their understanding of different beliefs and traditions while developing empathy, resilience and a strong sense of personal values. Religious Education at Benedict House supports both personal growth and academic learning, helping pupils to work collaboratively and approach complex ideas with openness and integrity.
