FAQs

We set high expectations for every pupil, offering a broad curriculum with subject specialists teaching certain areas. Regular assessments and personalised feedback ensure that pupils are both supported and challenged to achieve their full potential. We aim to provide a tailored, personalised education for every pupil.

Pastoral care is at the heart of our school. Each pupil has a form tutor who knows them well, and our pastoral team works closely with families to provide guidance, support, and encouragement throughout their school journey.

We provide pupils with the support they need to achieve their personal and academic goals, including tailored guidance for exam preparation. Transition to senior school is a crucial stage, and we offer strong academic and pastoral support to ensure this change is as smooth as possible. Interview preparation is also part of our commitment to preparing pupils for the next step in their education.

We value strong home–school partnerships. Parents are kept up to date through email, newsletters, regular reports, parents’ evenings, and ClassDojo. We also operate an open-door policy, encouraging parents to raise any concerns so that we can respond in a timely manner.

Beyond the classroom, pupils can take part in a wide range of clubs, trips, and activities, from sports and music to creative and outdoor pursuits. These opportunities develop confidence, teamwork, and new interests. We aim to provide at least one out-of-school visit per term, per class.
