In the Early Years Foundation Stage, our daily routine is carefully designed to support your child’s learning, well-being and growing independence. Each day begins with a calm and welcoming arrival, giving children time to settle in comfortably and feel safe, secure and ready to enjoy their day.
Throughout the day, children experience a balance of adult-led activities, specialist lessons in music, PE and French, as well as rich indoor and outdoor play opportunities. These experiences help to develop communication skills, physical confidence and a love of learning, as children explore, play and interact with others in meaningful ways.
Planned adult-led activities and continuous provision also encourage children to develop an understanding of the world around them. Through hands-on experiences, children learn about people, communities, nature and technology, helping them to make sense of the world in a way that is engaging and age-appropriate.
